Storyline

"A devoted single father embarks on the poignant journey of recounting the tale of their absent mother to his child, forever altering their shared narrative."

Plot

Viraj, a renowned fashion photographer based in Mumbai, is the single father of his six-year-old daughter, Mahi, who has cystic fibrosis. Intrigued by the absence of her mother, Mahi is promised her mother's story if she excels academically. Viraj hesitates to share the tale, causing tension between them. During a distressing episode when Mahi goes missing, she is rescued by Yashna. Pressured by both Yashna and Mahi, Viraj finally reveals the story of a woman named Varsha. He recalls falling in love with her in the picturesque town of Coonoor, followed by their marriage. However, their relationship becomes strained due to Varsha's reluctance to become a parent, a result of her own parents' failed marriage and divorce. The birth of Mahi and her subsequent diagnosis of cystic fibrosis add to the strain and lead Varsha to regret her decisions. Following an unfortunate accident that causes Varsha to lose her memories, she leaves Viraj and Mahi behind. The story takes an unexpected turn when it's revealed that Varsha and Yashna are, in fact, the same person. Viraj had deliberately used the name Varsha in his narrative to keep Yashna from suspecting her own past. As Mahi and Yashna's bond strengthens, Viraj impulsively decides to take a trip to Goa. There, Yashna organizes Mahi's birthday celebration, highlighting Viraj's lapse in memory. This leads to conflicts and the unveiling of Yashna's past, resulting in emotional upheaval. Despite these struggles, Mahi, Viraj, Yashna, and Pluto, their pet, share a brief yet precious moment together.
