Plot

Ranvijay "Vijay" Singh Balbir, son of a Delhi-based business magnate, Balbir Singh, resides in an opulent mansion with his family. His father, at the helm of their generational steel company, "Swastik Steels," has a demanding schedule, leaving little time for family. Vijay, who has always admired his father, steps in to protect his sister, Reet, when she faces bullying. This act of bravery, coupled with Vijay's unorthodox method of defense—an AK-47—leads Balbir to send him to a boarding school in the United States. Upon completing his education, Vijay returns to Delhi and rekindles a relationship with his former schoolmate, Geetanjali. Their budding romance culminates in Geetanjali breaking off her engagement, charmed by Vijay's self-proclaimed alpha male status. During Balbir’s 60th birthday, a heated argument with Reet's husband, Varun, results in Vijay's expulsion from the family home. Unfazed, he marries Geetanjali and they relocate to the United States, where they start a family and enjoy a peaceful life. Eight years later, news of an assassination attempts on Balbir forces Vijay to return to India. He assumes leadership of the family, vowing to unmask the culprits behind the attack. His journey leads him to his ancestral village in Punjab, where he seeks help from his extended family, expressing remorse for his long absence. They support his quest, even sending cousins back to Delhi with him. In a quest to protect his father, Vijay sets up a decoy, Kailash Ramteke, but the plan backfires when Kailash is killed. The revelation that Varun was involved in the assassination attempt comes during Kailash's funeral. Enraged, Vijay confronts and kills Varun. However, his pursuit of justice leaves him critically injured and in a coma. After awakening, Vijay must face the reality of requiring a heart transplant, which he successfully undergoes. His life takes another turn when he learns that the heart donor is the fiancé of a woman named Zoya. As he attempts to comfort Zoya, he finds himself entangled in an extramarital affair. Zoya falls for Vijay's attentive and generous nature, unaware of the impending revelation that her fiancé was not the donor. Moreover, she's unaware that the attempt on Balbir's life was orchestrated by Abrar Haque, the younger brother of Asrar, who had previously tried to kill Vijay. She confesses that she was dispatched by Asrar and Abrar's younger brother, Abid, with a mission to ensnare him. Their scheme involved kidnapping Vijay and replacing him with a look-alike, who would then eliminate his entire family while wearing the face of the man they trusted the most. Vijay discloses his prior knowledge of her true role and admits his desire to uncover the real villain's identity. He confirms that all his actions related to her were merely a façade. Subsequently, his grandfather, Rajdheer Singh, reveals that Abrar and his brothers share blood ties with them, being the offspring of Rajdheer's younger brother, Shamsher Singh. This revelation makes Vijay their cousin. Abrar had masterminded an assassination attempt on Balbir as retaliation for his father, Azim Haque, being denied a rightful portion of their estate. The resulting fallout led Shamsher to commit suicide in front of Abrar, an event that left Abrar speechless. Vijay, along with his cousins, storm Abrar's residence in Scotland with the intent to eliminate him. He dispatches Abrar's men and intimidates Abrar's wives to disclose his location. Initially, they feign ignorance, but when Vijay points his gun at the youngest wife's pregnant belly, unyielding even as her water breaks, they expose Abrar's escape plan with Abid to another country on their private jet. Vijay and his team chase after Abrar and Abid on the runway, successfully intercepting their flight. A grueling two-hour fistfight ensues between Vijay and Abrar, ending with Vijay triumphing over Abrar, after which he returns to India. During their Diwali celebration, Balbir discloses his terminal cancer diagnosis to Vijay. In a candid conversation, Balbir acknowledges his shortcomings as a father and extends an apology to Vijay. This moment marks their reconciliation. Vijay privately grieves his father's terminal illness in the company of Mishra and his cousins. Nonetheless, he finds comfort and happiness in his son, Abhay's love, even as Geetanjali decides to leave him. In a scene during the mid-credits, it is revealed that Asrar, Abrar, and Abid's younger brother, Aziz, has successfully undergone plastic surgery to become Vijay's doppelgänger, as per their original plan. Zoya is now expecting a child, but the identity of the father—Vijay or Aziz—remains uncertain. Aziz, in his new guise, ruthlessly murders two of Vijay's cousins and embarks on a mission with Abid to seek revenge on Vijay and his family.
